View all 3 replies Comment as Justin Educating Parents of HS Athletes On The College Recruiting Process M'Lynn Niehues Taylor My 2026 Grad applied on graduation day, visited & committed to the University of Texas San Antonio on Monday, moved into his dorm room on Wednesday...workouts and summer class start Monday!!!! What a wild ride it has been. After hundreds of emails, constantly posting film, going on 11 visits (all levels), constantly texting with coaches and taking phone calls...he found his perfect fit!!! We are thrilled! Thankfully we had all the things in order because it all happened super fast!!! (NCAA certification, Sickle Cell Test, Meningitis vaccine, etc) He's from a town of 342 people, graduated with 12 in his class and will be a fish in a gigantic pond of 41,000 students living his D1 dream in a big city! UTSA got a good one and he is ready to work!!!! So thankful for this group. We knew absolutely nothing when we started. #birdsup See less All reactions:
