What do you guys do when a company tries to bully you into putting verbiage on a COI that is not on the policy (hired non owned vehicles)? we have called progressive, the client has called progressive and they don't allow it. Now the company that wants the COI is threating to cancel the job for our customer.. she only has one vehicle..

I have a client whos father passed away. She lives in one of the houses and I was able to get coverage for that one under the estate. There is another property I need to find coverage for. In a high fire score area, had a water claim after dad passed away and might still be open as the repairs haven't been completed all the way, oh and its vacant until after probate is over. USAA is non renewing. Where would you go for this NV risk. I am sure it will need to go E&S but don't want to have to submit to 300 companies if possible. anyone know who would take this? See less

With the open claim it’s going to be difficult to find coverage. Probably Lloyd’s or Scottsdale through a broker (MGA)

Update: got it taken care of. Travelers lady said they aren't completely updated even though they were supposed to be by today. So should be fun working with them for a while. would anyone have a clue how to make a payment for an umbrella with travelers? I have been on hold for 15 minutes and have been trying to get this done since last week.. thanks in advance.

Try going under ‘travelers.com’. U can do a one time payment without client having to set up an account. Paid for an auto and home that way today.

Hi everyone, am I crazy or am I correct that this risk is going to be impossible to find coverage for. client, purchasing second home, of course in Wild fire area. SF wrote them, then cancelled them. That seems like the M.O for SF in this particular area. I get calls every single week because of this. anyhoo,. property is "condo" has 2 homes connected by a wall, so looks more like a duplex. 3 stories. Their COA says they need coverag

turned off commenting for this post. Matt Smith I’d say you’re overthinking it. If your insured is responsible for the exterior that most likely means there’s no master policy, which means none of the structure is covered by another policy. I’d write this as an HO3/5 all day long. That is, provided
