Have you tried any MGAs like AmWins or CRC?
What trucking carriers in Texas would take a tractor that is 26 years old and a reefer that is 12 years old? So far, I have quotes from Progressive and BHHC. Cover Whale declined because they do not accept units older than 23 years. Star RRG decline too old. I am still waiting on turnaround from other MGAs.
Im in TN so I don’t know anything really about TX but figured I’d throw this out there for you to possible try. My husband’s truck and trailer are with Great West Casualty. Truck is a 2000 and trailer is a 2008 and had no problems with that.
Canal will consider them with a mechanics report but no new ventures. NICO and GEICO
Most will have an issue with this from my experience.
The trick is completely different addresses, phone numbers and emails to keep the entities separate. Berkshire and Nico are always very tight.
I think biberk stopped writing that product so if you’re locked in, it’s hard to beat the rates. At least in FL, not sure about CA
