Read the full contract. Have it reviewed by an attorney. Know ALL the penalties for leaving or selling your book. They may have first right of refusal if you ever want to sell. May not release policy data and you may own ypur clients but they own the carrier relationship. Have seen 2 year ban on getting appointments with carriers you were appointed with through them.
Have been with them since opening agency. They do try and help get you direct appointments. They are very reasonable up front but once you start doing well that 30% cut seems like a lot. I don’t really like the smart start program since it takes forever to get quotes back so I’ve always tried to get direct appointments with them.
What is the best way to track and see where insurance carriers rank as far as PIF and premium in a state/country?
Can we normalize not asking AI questions that require actual research and thought?

I’m considering taking a rather large agency to SIAA to get more carrier access in states we are not domiciled in (this has been hard for us) and increase bonuses. Any pros , cons and feedback from SIAA agents?

Personal lines is starting to swing here. What appointments are you looking for? We’ve picked up a couple of really solid ones in the last 12 months, and Geico is opening up personal lines 4/9. Make sure you’re appointed with them for sure.
