I have a State Farm homeowners quote in Texas that lists an endorsement on the declarations page as “Metal Roof Exclusion for Hail.” The agent says this is simply the standard cosmetic hail exclusion for metal roofs and that functional hail damage (leaks, punctures, loss of ability to perform) is still covered. Anybody came across this before?? It’s just reads to me that all hail damage is excluded.
