Agency owners, I'd really appreciate your insight on something. We currently have our personal auto insurance with Progressive, and I recently received an email solicitation from them offering life insurance through their partnership with eFinancial. That caught my attention because we actively sell life insurance, and we just brought on a Life and Health specialist specifically to better work our P&C book. Has anyone else seen this? Are agents compensated in any way if a client purchases a life policy through that channel? Or is this simply carrier-driven marketing going directly to our customers?
