One of my clients' vendors sent me a COI request. Part of their insurance requirements require they be scheduled as an additional insured. This is the verbiage they are insisting "dozens of contractors all over the US have provided" for them. Edited to add: My point is that they want to name Citizens, USAA, State Farm, Chubb, Hartford, and other carriers as additional insureds.
