My dad has a policy with USLI for Premises Personal Liability on his personal home he is self-contracting in the state of Tennessee. He is not a licensed contractor and they are aware of this. They ask for every sub-contractor to provide a COI with my dad as Additional Insured prior to working on the job. I've had trouble getting these subcontractors to provide this info, at best receiving a COI with him listed as Additional Interest.
