Large Tract contractors question What is your “go to” market for large contractors performing residential tract work that can provide the following: - no residential exclusion OR limitation - no exclusion for “TBI for any injuries to any employee of a contractor, or employee of any other contractor, subcontractor, sub-subcontractor or insured, except TBI, under such policy.” They want CGL coverage for “liability over” claims which involve injuries to the employees of Contractors or other insureds. This insureds residential ops keep them out of admitted markets so it has to be an E&S program of sort. Venture is giving them a clean form outside of this one exclusion. Home builder wont budge. What’s your definition of a large contractor? Revenue? These are pretty standard requirements working in the residential/tract construction market. Really, any construction account. “Action over” exclusions can be negotiated on most surplus policy for
