Answer as Justin Lori McCauley posted to Insurance Soup™ All-star contributor HELP! I am at my wits end with HISCOX! Where else can I go for GL & PL for an Architect Services office in WA State? All reactions:
Comment View more answers Rob McCarthy The Hiscox now program you are talking about policy #p101 etc... is the absolute most challenging servicing of any insurance policy. It's meant to be direct to the consumer but was opened to brokers. It's typically super cheap but super annoying. Not many compatible options in that price point unless they are outgrowing it. Aka paying above $7,500 annually. It's a super limited box underwriting situation but very tricky to compete with if it fits.

Comment Answer as Justin Lori McCauley is feeling determined. All-star contributor HELP! Idaho - Primary Owner Occupied - 2023 Park Model Home. Tied-down, skirted. NICE. Located in Kellogg, Idaho in a PC 8. All my carriers have declined due to location in a high wildfire score: American Modern, Foremost, AEGIS, KW Specialty, AU Gold, Scottsdale, Lloyds. I have access to Concorde for WA, but not for ID. Too small for Safeco, Travelers, and Allstate. All of my other options won't do any size manufactured home. The MGA's I have tried include Cochrane & Co, RPS, Rothert, AmWins, RT Specialty. I have called and emailed Hull & Co, and One80 with zero response over 2 weeks time. Who else is there? The Park Model is not on a permanent foundation so Farm Bureau, Assurant, and Country Financial are out (to my understanding). Is there anyone out there in Soup-Land who can help my awesome clients! They have been with me on the home since they purchased it early 2024 and being non-renewed and I have been striking out left and right! Maybe Ryan Scaggs??? All reactions:
Comment Ryan Scaggs All-star contributor Kellogg is 25 miles away from me. Progressive Mfd Home would be a player for sure, they did a PC9-10 mfd home in Clark Fork for me last month. Shoot the details to me or Kendra June Miller (Kendra is former Farm Bureau of Idaho agent and is now in my agency) and we can jump on it Monday.
Edited Samantha Rowen If they have good credit, maybe Gem State would take it? I haven’t ever tried to write one with them that wasn’t on a permanent foundation so idk
Comment Answer as Justin Lori McCauley posted to Insurance Soup™ All-star contributor WA State - Manufactured Home (owner occupied as primary residence) (yb 1980) all systems updated. Excellent condition inside and out. AMIG, Foremost, and Aegis all out due to wild fire score. AUGold and Scottsdale out due to age over 25 years. Currently with Lloyd's on a DP1/ACV policy. Where else can I go? (Not looking to refer, looking for carrier or MGA options). TIA Also, tied down and skirted, but not on a permanent found… See more
