Here is a new one to make me scratch my head… same carrier…one quote getting bound…one at fault accident 7200 pay accepted. Called UW. Another different quote speeding ticket under 15… 2 years 6 months ago declined… called UW… kinda backwards…I don’t get it…
This is exactly why I dislike PL - the modeling and pricing just doesn't make sense (not always, but sometimes at least). It's all smoke and mirrors, even to us agents! Which makes it really difficult to make it make sense to our insureds. As an industry, we basically lean on the "trust us" response and explain the concepts of modeling/rating/law of large numbers but that stuff doesn't matter to the general public. There's a lot of accounts that I see where the pricing just doesn't seem right. But, what are ya gunna do about it? We put info in, the system gives us the rate, and that's that in PL.

Anyone else get this by progressive on commercial auto? Rate was was better than SF. Ran MVR, 1 under 15 speeding ticket in 2022. Rate increases over $1000 for the year. That’s insane. More than accident increase on personal…they must hate me…
I’ve got one for you, progressive commercial auto expiring rate $4200…comp claim last year that they screwed the pooch on for MONTHS causing it to pay out double what it should have…renewal rate $6500!
I had one similar to that last week. Ran it with Geico with much better results.

Anyone else have issues again with Nationstar or Mr Pooper?…bound customer with National General. Sent Dec page with National General. Customer sees 2 payments were made. One to National General second one to Allstate. We call and ask… their response to sending and additional National General payment to Allstate, aren’t they and Allstate company? Yes but they are separate. That’s why we sent it… to Allstate it should say Allstate if it wasn’t Allstate…. Ugh… 7-10 days we now wait… See less
