Maybe we began supporting Agents with a new service. I get it. Youre starting a new chapter and optimistic and excited. You’re more than any of that… In our business. And while we don’t expect you to understand the nuance or the read between the lines reasons for our rules… We have rules in place specifically to keep this place the place that it is. And we don’t self promote in here for one main reason. And if you’re in other insurance groups you know why… And it’s because if there’s one thing insurance agents do extremely well.. It’s spam on social media. And what does a room of 65000 spammy ass insurance agents do when no one makes sure they’re not vomiting on anyone and everyone they see… When I see one person puking it makes me gag Call it a weak gag reflex. Fear of puke. Grossed out. Idk. I see someone puke and I’m right there with them. A lot of you experience this. So 65000 people all taking turns vomiting? Idk the thought makes me dry heave. So no… We do not allow 65000 people who struggle to not self promote freely self promote in an environment we’re trying to deliver value, good conversation, networking oppportunity, and laughs. It would turn this place that sees over 4000 posts, 180000 engaged reactions, and 52000 comments a month into a ghost town. And your need to tell us what you’re up to is not more important than the missions and goals of the very business you’re standing in promoting yourself. You don’t yell out what you do when you’re at Costco. Weird right? May even get kicked out? Same here. You’re in our business… promoting your business.. Try it tonight at your local grocery store or at a busy restaurant in your town. Walk around actively and publicly soliciting the shoppers or diners.
