Hello everyone! Looking for some insight on a trucking op. I lost it to another agency at 1st renewal--the client told me they quoted him $15k. His renewal was $31k with Progressive. I shopped it with The Lizard as well. Their pricing was similar. When I wrote this last year, my underwriter told me the price would come way down once his DOT had been active for a year. He applied for it last summer but SAFER web only shows it active since April 2026, thus the higher renewal premium.
