View 1 reply Julian JBird Weathers Top contributor I’d say about 8 out of 10 carriers are going to say if they own the truck it has to be insured. Some carriers don’t run vin reports so it doesn’t come up. This is very typical in trucking now due to so many operating trucks that aren’t listed on their scheduled unit policies and the federal filings being on the line. What’s he hauling ?
