Playing devils advocate... we ALL have these clients! You know, the ones you try to set up review appointments with and they ignore you... so a competitor gets them a quote and suddenly they have time to come in. Finally we can review and check coverage and discounts... oh yes, and remind them that they could have had this sooner had they come in when asked. And don’t we all want a client to be at least loyal enough to give us a chance before leaving?
Monét Bottenfield when one of our customer says that they got another quote from another insurance company, I always ask them to bring it into us so we can review it. As a few of you have said, nine times out of 10 they just haven't come in for a good policy review anyway. For instance I have someone that is insured with my company but not necessarily my agency. She had me look at her policy, and then had me look at a quote that she had gotten from Farmers. She swore to me that farmers told her that everything was the same from liability, to un and underinsured, to deductibles. They cut her liability limits in half from 100/300 to 50/100. she had an ocean deductible with our policy, with a comp deductible of 0, even though on paper it said 250. on paper for Collision it said 500, but she had a $200 deductible due to the vanishing deductible. They quoted her $500 deductibles for comp and collision. They were saving her about $200 every 6 months. I told her, you're putting on a youthful driver here in a few weeks, and now is not the time to be cutting your limits! Needless to say, she still insured with our company, I saved the commission for the other agent, but I felt that I did her an ethical service.
Insured calls for a GL policy, as he and his brother started a company. So I ask my first question, what’s the name of the company? His response: “Prestige Worldwide” See less

My Safe Home goes out that way. You have a log in to order it already.
They're my last resort.
Sent two quotes to a prospect to review over the weekend. One auto and one home. My auto quote saved the prospect $100/month and my home quote saved the prospect $1600/year. The prospect sent it to their current agent and had him/her match it.
