Posting here because we’re beyond confused. We’re moving into a new office space for our agency. Even though we are only renting the property, the landlord is requiring property insurance on the building itself. We don’t own the building — only our personal business equipment. The landlord and other tenants insist this has never been an issue and that other renters have been able to carry “property insurance” with no problems.
