New Producer and Agency. Decided not to go captive. Wanted the freedom so decided to go the independent agency route. Have done a lot of research. What I have learned is carriers don’t want to work with scratch agencies. The option is to join an aggregator / network and based on their contracts that I have reviewed they are as restrictive or have “traps” embedded. They control the master codes and either won’t give you the LOR or have
