Insurance is the only industry I've worked in where payouts (whether it be commission or otherwise) are sent out without a timeframe provided for disputes. Construction, property preservation, and banking (I'm sure others to) all have invoice/payment processes where you're provided a payout sheet then given X days to respond and dispute/appeal the findings before you are paid or charged.
